Do you understand what you've drawn???? You've drawn a country symbol broken. If japanese ppl se this they'll be very offended..... They have to be strong and don't give up and you'r just laughing at them posting this awful image. You had to think better about there fillings.... Shame on you!
I hope not. It happened there, something terrible, a disaster that harmed many people and all country. But I'm sure that soon will rise from this, and their unique character, despite breaking, will survive everything.
This raises awareness about the struggle millions of people are facing in Japan. Thank you --
Here's hoping that people will see this and consider donating -- and to reputable places, like the Red Cross -- to help those millions of people in a country of a beautiful, timeless, and unique culture and way of life.
In a way it could be helping someone over there if they're able to see it on an emotional, or even personal level to know that so many people care so much as to make such beautiful artwork in the honor of those that are suffering because of this disaster. Though in ways of money and food, it might not help, but in the ways of the heart and soul, it could really push those clouds away.
Not only is it for a good cause, this is excellent design. Simple, stylish, and quite the attention grabber. I would not be surprised if I saw this at official donation websites. Great job, wish I could critique it!
I hope that everyone over there may have a quick return to their normal lives as well. This is a tragedy. Too many lives have been lost, too many homes destroyed, broken and forever changed. Thankyou for this beautiful piece of art.
You'r suggesting that it's better to pretend that this tragedy does not move me? And do nothing? Only watch TV news and move on? Or maybe you shouldn't express an opinion of someone you're not. I am not bothering you my vision. It is available as many others. The choice is arbitrary. My version does not have to hit you, but I am pleased that the sudden, my vision went to a lot of people, where it was needed.
You are twisting my words. Did I say that you shouldn't draw? No. I am simply telling you that I think maybe you should have been more sensitive in your choice of images and did some research before posting an image that came across as offensive to me immediately after looking at it. That is MY opinion as a viewer, why are you telling me I am expressing the opinion of the Japanese? The link I sent you is from a Japanese person. Did you even read it? If you did, I don't think you would have replied in this way. It is important to read the mood and make the timing right in a sensitive time like this.
And you are wrong--your vision has bothered me. Please accept this. I am simply commenting as a viewer about how your piece made me feel, which is offended and bothered. It is not a personal attack. You have created this work, but unfortunately, I did not agree with it. I am not telling you to not feel, not create.
